Beyoncé and her Lemonade Explained

Beyonce’s visual album has caused a stir throughout the world with many believing the album has veiled attacks on the rumoured side chick of Jay Z Rachel Roy.

Lemonades title comes from a speech from Jay Z’s grandmother that states “ I had my ups and downs, but I always find the inner strength to pull myself up. I was served lemons but I made lemonade”
Is this a symbolic statement referring to Beyonce’s marriage to Jay Z and his alleged affair with Rachel Roy?
The Becky with the good hair mentioned in Beyoncé ’s new track “Sorry” in the hours following the track  posted an interesting update to Instagram. Attached to a picture of herself and a friend was the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies. or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens”

Roy has since made her Instagram account private. On Twitter, she wrote, “I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no
matter what, is bullying, of any kind.” She subsequently cancelled a public appearance where she was due to speak.
Roy was the alleged catalyst for the fight between Solange and Jay Z in an elevator in 2014 after the met ball.
Leaked security video of the fight — which showed Solange attacking Jay Z— went viral online. And Beyoncé later addressed the incident in the remix to her song “Flawless,”
where she talks about shit going down when there’s a “billion dollars in an elevator.”

Jay Z and sister-in-law Solange Knowles had an altercation at a Met Gala after-party May 5 that was caught on tape. It all went down in an elevator where the 27-year-old sister of Beyonce can be seen clawing and kicking at her brother-in-law as the "Halo" singer looks on. It's unclear what caused the argument as there is no sound on the black and white surveillance video, shot after the group attended a soiree at the Boom Boom Room at New York's Standard Hotel. On the same night Solange had a to do with Roy before she got in the elevator with
Bey involved. Subsequently it was revealed that Roy worked as an intern for Jay Z at Rocafella and may have become closer than work associates.
No one really knows what the truth is but Beyoncé is proof that its possible to control the art that you put into the world, the way that you interact with fans and the way that those fans consume what you give them.  She truly has been able to express her feelings through ‘Lemonade’ even if its not directly about her marriage.
